Product Overview
The spring-loaded metal cord lock — also called a cord toggle, barrel lock or cord stopper — is a compact, precision fastener that grips and secures drawstrings, elastic cords and rope on bags, apparel, outdoor gear and footwear. Each lock has three parts: a hollow outer barrel with two opposing side holes, a spring-loaded inner plunger with a flat press-button top, and a coiled steel spring for consistent clamping tension.
Operation is simple: press the plunger to align the internal aperture with the side holes, thread the cord through, and release — the spring snaps back and grips. No knots, no slipping, no tools. It comes in two body styles (long slender and short stocky) and three finishes (polished silver, gunmetal, antique brass).
